The Challenge

The client maintained two separate article (product) databases––one for accounting and one for technicians in the field. Data discrepancies between the two systems such as product pricing, product description led to inefficiencies and errors in order processing and service delivery. The client needed a reliable solution to synchronise the databases and ensure data consistency across both platforms as well as replace existing manual update processes.

Our Solution

We developed an automated synchronisation process that regularly compared and updated records between the two article databases. The solution included data validation checks to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring that both databases maintained accurate and up-to-date information. We also created a user-friendly interface for monitoring the synchronisation status and managing any conflicts that arose during the process. Additionally, we provided training to the client's staff on how to use the new system effectively.
